Funding is prioritised for organisations that can deliver strong local benefits and support the wellbeing of those living in regional WA. Applications are encouraged for projects that align with one or more of the program's focus areas, including initiatives that build local skills, encourage better everyday decision making, improve the energy efficiency of community spaces and help communities to stay connected during extreme weather and emergency events.
Past partnership recipients include regional sporting clubs, cultural and music events, and environmental education programs for school‑aged children. Funding is available to eligible organisations wanting to upgrade their club infrastructure, purchase specialist equipment or kick-start a new project. Organisations delivering initiatives that support clean energy outcomes in regional WA are particularly encouraged to apply.
